Product management workshop · live online
A four half-day live online workshop on how agile teams decide what to build, and why. Every module pairs a short teaching block with an exercise on your own product, so you leave with filled-in templates rather than notes about templates. It is a practical workshop, not a certification course.
$400 per seat
Seats are limited so every exercise gets feedback. Private online cohorts are available for groups of 8 to 20.
The workshop is four half days, each from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mountain, 16 hours in total, taught live by me. Across the four days we move from customers and discovery through user stories, then on to business cases and prioritization, and finish with where AI fits in a product workflow. Each module is a short teaching block followed by an exercise you run on your own product, and then a round of feedback from the room.
Four hours at a time online is still a lot of screen time, so I build in real breaks and change the rhythm often: individual writing, pairs, small groups, and whole-room discussion. Nobody listens to a lecture for more than a few minutes at a stretch. You are building something the whole time.
Online has an advantage for this particular workshop. Your product, your customer notes, and your backlog are all on the computer you are sitting at, so the exercises run on the real thing instead of a stand-in.
When you register you get a Wonder Portal account with the agenda for all four days, your meeting times, and the class materials. The Join button for the video link switches on 15 minutes before each meeting. The editable templates, including the persona canvas, interview guide, story templates, ROI calculator, and prioritization worksheet, are yours to keep, along with the prompt library from the AI module.
Class times are in Mountain time. The 10:00 a.m. Mountain start is 12:00 p.m. Eastern, 11:00 a.m. Central, and 9:00 a.m. Pacific. Four hours is a long stretch if the local start time lands late in your evening, so if you are in Europe, Asia, or Australia, ask me about a private cohort scheduled for your time zone.
The portal shows meeting times in your own time zone once you sign in.
Six modules: customers and personas, discovery basics, user stories that work, business cases, prioritizing when everything is urgent, and AI in the product workflow. The full outline, what you take with you, and private cohort pricing are on the Introduction to Agile Product Management course page.
Four-hour sessions keep each day manageable online and leave part of the day for your regular work. The exercises need room to run on your own product, and the feedback from the room is where much of the learning happens, so four sessions give each module enough time for both.
