Scrum Alliance® microcredential · live online
Learn where AI helps a product owner and where it quietly gets things wrong, in a live online class where you practice on real backlog items. You work with the tools during class instead of watching slides about them.
Official Scrum Alliance microcredential, delivered live by Phase Won

Seats are limited so I can look at your actual prompts. Private cohorts can use your approved tools.
This course suits the online format almost better than a classroom, because everyone already has the tools open on their own computer. I teach a short idea, then you try it. You prompt for a user story, compare the result with what a careful person would write, and then we look at where the generated version went wrong. Interesting outputs go on a shared screen so the whole room can learn from one person's mistake.
I keep the class small enough to look at your actual prompts. Most of the value in this course comes from watching a prompt fail, working out why, and fixing it, and that is easier for me to coach when I can see your screen and your wording.
The ethics and data risk module is a conversation, not a lecture. Bring the questions your security and legal teams have already asked you.
Register and you get a Wonder Portal account with your agenda, class times, and materials. The Join button for the video link switches on 15 minutes before each meeting. After class, the examples we worked through and the prompt library stay with you for later use.
Add the email address you use with Scrum Alliance to your portal profile before class so the digital badge reaches the right inbox and your two-year membership is set up.
Class times are in Mountain time. A 9:00 a.m. Mountain start is 11:00 a.m. Eastern, 10:00 a.m. Central, and 8:00 a.m. Pacific. Product teams that are spread across the country usually find a morning Mountain start workable for everyone. If you are joining from Europe or Asia, check the local times before you register, because a full session may fall in your evening.
The portal shows meeting times in your own time zone once you sign in.
Four modules set by Scrum Alliance: backlog and requirements, strategy and roadmapping, scrum events and forecasting, and ethics, data, and risk. The full outline and the microcredential steps are on the AI for Product Owners course page.
Any general-purpose AI assistant you can open in a browser. The course is tool-agnostic, and the techniques transfer between them. Having an account ready saves time in the first exercise.
Yes, and it is often the best choice. Tell me which one you use and I will help you apply the techniques to it, within whatever your data policy allows.
Please bring examples that are not confidential. One of the lessons is what never to paste into a prompt, and I will ask you to practice on sanitized or invented items.
