Hello, I'm Corissa.
I'm a product leader, trainer, and coach with 20+ years of experience building software in healthcare IT. I founded Phase Won because I believe every product team deserves clarity, confidence, and a path forward.
My career started in the trenches — supporting and building products at small start-ups before "Product Management" was even a thing. I've managed complex product porfolios that generate over $20m in revenue per year, and I learned firsthand what happens when teams have strong product strategy (and what happens when they don't).
I've seen brilliant teams stuck in analysis paralysis, shipping features no one asked for, or scrambling without a clear direction. I've also seen what's possible when teams learn to validate ideas with real customers, align on strategy, and move forward with purpose. That transformation — from uncertainty to clarity — is what drives everything I do.
What I believe
The best way to learn is by doing. I favor pragmatic experimentation and iteration over endless planning.
You've got to start with a big, audacious plan.
Break your ideas down into the smallest thing that brings value to the market.
Get feedback from real people and make changes based on what you learn.
The journey
I named my company Phase Won for a reason. Every product team I work with is somewhere on a journey:
