Scrum Alliance® microcredential · in person
Run Agile Essentials in a room instead of on a screen. I teach this microcredential in person at company offices across the Denver metro and in open classes when they are scheduled, so a whole department can learn together and be back at work the next morning.
Official Scrum Alliance microcredential, delivered live by Phase Won
The most common way to take Agile Essentials in person is as a private cohort at your own office. I come to you anywhere in the Denver metro, whether that is downtown Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, or the foothills. A department of 8 to 20 people can sit in one room, work through the exercises on real scenarios from your function, and leave with a shared vocabulary on the same day.
You choose the shape of the class: two half days, two evening sessions, or a single day with extended practice on your own work. Flat cohort pricing typically runs $2,000–$3,000, and I come back with a format recommendation and a quote within two business days.

Open in-person dates are added when enough people ask for a particular week.
Each open in-person class lists its venue and start time with the date, and I send entry and parking details in the joining email. Some in-person dates are offered through a partner college or training organization, and those dates link to the partner's registration page.
This is the class for the people a certification course skips: teams in marketing, operations, HR, finance, and clinical work that have been told to be more agile, along with the managers and sponsors who work with them. Companies across Denver and Aurora book it for a whole department, and a handful of people from Lakewood, Arvada, and Evergreen join an open class when one is scheduled.
Because the class has no prerequisites, the room is mixed on purpose. A new analyst sits next to a director, and the exercises give both something to say.
The class follows the five Scrum Alliance lessons on why agile now, agile teams and organizations, work requests and prioritization, continuous improvement, and measuring success. The full outline and the microcredential steps are on the Agile Essentials course page, or take it live online.

Yes. I teach private cohorts at company offices anywhere in the Denver metro. Groups of 8 to 20 work best.
Eight is a good minimum and twenty a good maximum, so everyone can take part in the exercises. Flat cohort pricing means the cost per person falls as the group grows.
Yes. Scrum Alliance issues the same Agile Essentials badge and two-year membership for every format.
